Credentials

Over the years, I’ve been lucky to work with some amazing brands spanning lots of different sectors.

I previously worked for The BIG Partnership, the UK’s largest PR agency outside of London, heading up the Scottish Ambulance Service, Scottish Prison Service and ExxonMobil accounts, for example – and was also the Scottish correspondent for BT.

I was a business editor for both The Business Journal (Romanes Media Group) and Scotland B2B, which I published independently between 2016 and 2018, and have helped countless SMEs, ranging from debt and recruitment specialists to artisan makers and therapists, raise their profiles in increasingly competitive markets.

I have written for a variety of natural health magazines and other Scottish and national titles, including The Courier, The Scots Magazine and Take a Break, and am a former magazine journalist and Real Life editor for My Weekly magazine.

I have secured coverage for my PR clients in newspapers, magazines, and on TV and radio.

As a freelance travel writer, I specialised in health and wellbeing travel – spending time in Tuscan yoga retreats, Spanish spas, Japanese onsens and at the Kongobuji monastery and head temple of Shingon Buddhism.

Today, I work with an eclectic mix of clients, from digital and IT specialists to health and wellbeing practitioners, across both B2B and B2C sectors.

I am also the founding publisher of Good Health, Wellbeing & The Great Outdoors, which is Scotland’s only health and wellbeing print title.

I work across a range of specialisms, from freelance writing to marketing and PR and events management.

So, whether you are looking to raise the profile of your business locally, or keen to increase your footprint and market share in Scotland, I can help.

I’d love to chat to see how I can add an extra dynamic to your business.
